HANNIBAL – Veterans prepared to take off on the Great River Honor Flight’s fourth mission of 2019 Sunday.

30 local Vietnam War veterans and their guardians picked up hats, t-shirts and information packets.

One veteran said the trip will be special.

“Oh it means the world,” Navy veteran Larry Morrison said. “I mean, just everything, especially going with my brother. He was in Vietnam. I just think it will be great. It’s going to be excellent, I can tell. I’m excited.”

This trip will depart from Hannibal LaGrange University around 2:30 a.m. on August 24.
