Police arrest burglary suspects, one still at large

Pike County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a fourth suspect after a string of burglaries and home invasions.

The sheriff’s office says authorities searched three homes Monday in Jacksonville, Illinois to look for the individuals involved in the string of burglaries and home invasions on August 15 and 16 in Pike, Adams and Scott Counties.

Deputies arrested Edwin Powell, 29, and Germarco Tate, 26. and Tyler Runk, 22, of Jacksonville, Illinois for three counts of home invasion.

All three are being held on $300,000 bond.

Police say they are still looking for a fourth suspect, 28-year-old Timothy Gallup, who is likely in the Jacksonville or Alton area.

Authorities say Gallup should be considered armed and dangerous.
