Hot and humid afternoon after morning storms

This morning’s strong to severe thunderstorms have moved through the Tri-States. Now, mostly cloudy skies with a few isolated storms remain possible through the afternoon hours – along with very hot and humid conditions.

Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s by later this afternoon. Coupled with higher humidity, feels like temperatures may approach 105 by late this afternoon.

Things will remain warm and muggy overnight tonight with partly cloudy skies and an isolated shower or storm possible.

More storm chances arrive on Wednesday, especially earlier in the day. These are not currently expected to be severe. The showers and storms should clear off Wednesday evening.

Cooler and less humid weather arriving on Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 70s…with the tranquil weather taking us into the weekend.
