Culver-Stockton College students are already getting to try out their brand new cafeteria even though classes haven’t started yet.
School officials said over the summer they worked on a complete overhaul of the cafeteria, including all new lighting, food bars, soda machines, big screen TV’s, seating, and a dessert station. Now students already on campus for sports get to use it. They said it’s all possible thanks to donors.
“This is where the students eat breakfast and lunch and dinner, they spend more time here than many other places on campus, it needs to feel like home,” said Culver-Stockton College Dean of Students Chris Gill.
The upgrades also included an overhaul of the former president’s dining area, which is now re-named the Schwan Family Dining Room.
