A large dome of surface high pressure and sinking air to our northeast will result in an east flow of air into the Tri-States on Friday.
This pattern will bring some clouds and sun to our skies with dry conditions, cooler than average temperatures in the 70s, and light breezes from the east at 10-15 mph.
Conditions will not be as humid as they have been recently as somewhat drier air is pumped into the region on those east winds.
Pleasant weather and mild 70s will continue into the weekend ahead with quiet weather on tap.
Rain chances return by Sunday night into Monday as a warm front lifts northward into the region at that time followed by yet another cold front early next week.
