The Hannibal Free Public Library is selling off hundreds of books this weekend.
Librarians said the event that happens twice a year is a way for the library to sell books that aren’t being used as much anymore.
Paperback books are 25 cents, hardback books are 50 cents, audio and video materials are a dollar each, and magazines are 10 cents each.
“Any chance we can get books into people’s hands and like I said go to a good home. Any way we can clear up some space so we can get more new books into our collection.”
The library sale will continue next week as well. Starting Monday pricing will be a dollar a bag.
