He said he wants to focus on his other restaurant, Riverside Smokehouse on 3rd Street.

The post stated that the current Tacos Ink staff will transition to work at Riverside.

Any booked catering events will also be handled by the Riverside staff.

Some customers said they’re sad to hear the news.

“I think it’s sad that anytime a business in Quincy is closing their doors, for whatever reason,” said Pilar Brumbaugh, Customer. “It is sad to see them go, because it is nice to have different options, but wishing the owners the best of luck.”

Brumbaugh said she will miss having another food option around the corner from work.

“Well it’s right next to QU, so it’s nice for the students, faculty, staff,” she said. “It’s just convenient. it’s just right there.”

The owner said gift cards at Tacos Ink can be used through this weekend, however a closing date was not announced.
