Hannibal City Hall mural fundraiser reaches goal

Efforts to create a mural on the side of Hannibal’s city hall have paid off.

A kickstarter campaign goal was set at $15,000 to pay for materials and labor for the artist to create the mural.

That goal was met Wednesday evening.

Recently, the design changed to better include Hannibal’s diverse background and history.

“The biggest part for me is this is Broadway,” said resident Kenna Bogue. “This is where we do all of our traditions like the Fourth of July parade, Halloween parade, Christmas parade. Everything comes down here and this is where everyone gets to sit with their families and it will be right there on that wall.”

You can still donate to the fundraiser. Different levels of donations earn you different items featuring the mural like posters.
