Pleasant Hill traffic stop results in meth arrest

PLEASANT HILL, IL (WGEM) — A traffic stop in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, has resulted in the arrest of a Louisiana, Missouri, man for meth.

Chief Zachary Orr reported that on Sunday at 10:07 p.m. the Pleasant Hill Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Quincy St. near Main St.

Orr stated the driver, Wesley Lewis, 41, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lewis was lodged in the Pike County Jail.
