We saw hot and humid conditions this afternoon as temperatures warmed into the 80s with feels like temperatures reaching into the 90s.
Some clouds tracked over the area with some sun as well seen at times for a mostly cloudy to partly sunny sky earlier today.
While an isolated shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out tonight, chances for any precipitation are quite low with dry weather expected in most locations.
Low temperatures will be in the lower 70s with some clouds at times especially early on in the nighttime hours.
The unseasonably warm and sticky conditions will continue on Wednesday in the Tri-States with high temperatures right back to the 80s to near 90 degrees with the oppressive feels like readings back in the 90s.
However, heat relief is on the way in the form of a cold front set to roll across the area later Thursday into Thursday night.Clouds as well as rain chances will be increasing as we work or way through Thursday.
There will be a low risk of strong to severe storms later Thursday into Thursday night as that front sweeps through.
Some soaking rainfall will also be expected.
Behind the cold front, less humid and cooler air will push into the region for Friday with 70s for temperatures under partly sunny skies.
