Man arrested for meth after being found unresponsive in his vehicle

MACOMB (WGEM) — A McDonough County man was arrested for meth after being found unresponsive in his vehicle in Argyle State Park, police said.

McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout saidTommy Bigsby, 33, of Tennessee, Illinois, has been arrest for Possession of Methamphetamine – Under 5 grams.

Petitgout said that on Tuesday, Deputies responded to Argyle State Park to a call of a male subject that was unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

Deputies located Bigsby in his vehicle parked in the road. Bigsby admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine, and was treated by paramedics.

Deputies also found suspected methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia inside Bigsby’s vehicle that was in plain view.

Bigsby was lodged in the McDonough County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
