Do you know anyone looking for a job?

The Hannibal Area Job Fair will be held Thursday, October 10 from noon til 3 p.m. at the Admiral Coontz Armory, located at 301 Warren Barrett Drive.

More than 40 employers are set to attend the fair.

Organizers said people attending should dress for an interview and bring a resume.

Healthcare, manufacturing, retail and seasonal jobs are just some of the businesses that should be there.

The Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce said the fair is an opportunity to meet with multiple employers in person.

“Our hopes are that we are really able to connect people looking for a new opportunity, with that opportunity and able to provide our employers with some good qualified candidates,” Executive Director McKenzie Disselhorst said.

One company that is looking to hire for seasonal jobs is MoDOT. Officials say they are in need of snow plow drivers.

“Safety is key for this position, your plowing snow day and night , we work in 12 hour shifts, we have to have someone who is safety conscious and who’s certainly a team player,” MoDOT Communications Manager Marisa Ellison said.
The Hannibal Area Job Fair is open to the public.
