Officials ask for public’s help identifying armed robbery suspect

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help in identifying a suspect of an armed robbery.

On October 16th, officials say the sheriff’s department was called to a report of an armed robbery at Jiffi Stop in Barry off of State Highway 106.

A masked white male entered the Jiffi Stop with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.  He left with a small amount of cash and items from the store, according to authorities.

Officials say the suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11”, and around 200 pounds.
