Hannibal man arrested with marijuana and loaded handgun

HANNIBAL (WGEM) — A Hannibal man was arrested Wednesday for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use/Possession of a Weapon.

Lieutenant J.M. Grote reported that on Wednesday officers were called to a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of 30th St. Officers contacted Trevieon Harris, 19, inside the vehicle.

Grote stated that Harris gave a false name and date of birth. Harris was arrested on a municipal warrant.  He was found in possession of marijuana and a loaded handgun.

Grote stated that on Thursday morning a warrant was issued in the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County Missouri charging Harris with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Unlawful Use/Possession of a Weapon.

Harris’ bond is set at $50,000 and he remains in the Marion County Jail and Law Enforcement Center.
