Mark Twain Boyhood Home names new executive director

HANNIBAL (WGEM) — The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum has announced a new Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the museum.

Museum officials state that James Lundgren from Owatonna, Minnesota, will relocate to Hannibal in December and begin his full-time duties at the beginning on duties January 2.

Lundgren was previously the Executive Director of the Steele County Historical Society in Owatonna.

Fundgren has also previously served as the Director of Operations for the National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo, Ohio, and the executive Director of the History Center of Olmsted County in Rochester, Minnesota.

Lundgren will replace Henry Sweets who will stay on as a part time curator.
