Quincy boil order for customers near 9th & Jefferson

QUINCY (WGEM) — Quincy officials have issued a boil order for Wednesday for customers in the area of 9th and Jefferson St.

The boil order will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and will affect customers in the following area:

Officials state the repair of a broken water valve in the area will require an interruption in water service. The boil order will be in effect once the water is restored.
