The District to hold open house for public in downtown Quincy

If you’re interested in learning more about downtown Quincy and available opportunities in the area, officials with The District are holding an open house Wednesday night.

The District Executive Director Bruce Guthrie said there were more than 16 new businesses to open up downtown in 2019 and The District wants to keep the momentum going.

“They’ll’ be able to visit with our volunteers, our board, our staff and be able to ask questions about what is going on in the heart of Quincy in downtown, what maybe their concerns are, things that we need to maybe look at or focus on,” Guthrie said.

He said the open house is Wednesday night from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Electric Fountain Brewing.
