We now know the goal of the Salvation Army’s 2019 Christmas Campaign.

Thursday night, the chairs of the 2019 campaign revealed a $410,000 goal.

That’s up slightly from last year’s goal.

Officials said the money raised helps fund the Salvation Army’s yearly operations, not just Christmas.

“Not only will we be making children’s Christmases much brighter but we will also be providing money to operate the shelter to feed families and many programs to help break the cycle of poverty in our community,” said 2019 Co-Chair Jake Scholz.

This year’s chairs are Charles and Jamie, and Jake and Becca Scholz along with their children.
