Keokuk accepting donations for cemetery improvements

After the loss of his granddaughter, Nora, Keokuk resident Dan Hickey has been donating his own time, money and equipment to improve the streets around Nora’s grave at Oakland Cemetery.

After WGEM aired a story on Hickey’s plan, Hickey says he began getting calls from people wanting to donate to the cause.

To facilitate donations the Keokuk Area Community Foundation has agreed to accept online donations through its website http://keokukfoundation.org/.

On the page is a box to the right side with the title “Donate here to the Fund for Nora.” Click the box and you will be redirected to the donation page. KACF will also take check donations mailed to:
