Get out enjoy the cool fall air under mostly sunny skies on Sunday. We should top out near seasonal norms in the low to mid 50s. But late on Sunday we really see some major changes sliding toward the area in the form of a cold front. The cold front we are tracking will slide through on Monday early and temps will have a tough time climbing above freezing. It is likely the high temp for Monday will come at midnight Sunday into Monday. Temps will be in the mid 20s by noon. The temps will be cold enough and there should be enough moisture to eek out some snowfall. The problem is the snow will be occurring at the time when everyone is trying to do a Monday morning commute. Roads my be slick with just enough snow to cover the roadways. Updates will be forth coming as new data rolls in. Please watch the next newscast for updated forecasts. Monday morning could be a WEATHER ALERT situation.
