QUINCY, IL (WGEM) — Holiday shoppers got a jump on their lists Sunday at the Quincy Craft and Christmas Market.
Organizers said it was a good turnout for the vendors, shoppers, and the Oakley Lindsay Center. They said around 3,000 to 4,000 shoppers turned out for 86 vendors.
“This year we’ve had a tremendous crowd come through. We’ve done just extraordinary business this year. So, it’s great, it helps get the word out,” said vendor Steve Cress.
Vendors said good sales can set them up for the year.
Cress said this event typically provides about 75 percent of their yearly revenue.
