QUINCY (WGEM) — The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has announced the approval of a “Same Site” adult-use cannabis license for Herbal Remedies in Quincy.
IDFPR officials state the license will permit Herbal Remedies to begin recreational marijuana sales at their 4440 Broadway location starting January 1, provided the dispensary complies with local zoning rules or other local laws.
In addition to opening adult-use dispensaries at the same site of their medical cannabis dispensary, Herbal Remedies would be permitted under the law to open a second site for recreational marijuana sales at a different location.
