High Wind Warning

Severe thunderstorm threat is over. Now, a High Wind Warning will take hold at midnight and run until 3 PM Wednesday. The High Wind Warning is for wind gusts to 55 miles per hour. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The highest winds are currently expected to be from approximately 3 AM to 10 AM Wednesday. People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
