WGEM Sports At Six: Wednesday (Nov. 27) Clark County Continues Preparations For State Semifinal And QHS Is Ready For Tournament

The (12-1) Indians of Clark County are back on the practice turf focusing on the defensive game plan they hope to utilize against the undefeated Ava Bears on Saturday.

The two teams will meet on the turf at AHS this Saturday afternoon in the Class 2 State Semifinals in Ava, Missouri.

CCHS head coach Ethan Allen also offered some insight today on his teams travel plans as they gear up for the 5 hour bus trip to “Bears Country” for the biggest game of the season.

On the prep hardwood, the 49th Annual QHS Thanksgiving Tournament gets underway at Blue Devil Gym on Thursday evening. Quincy will be ready to tip-off against Lutheran North at 7:30 p.m.

Finally, we’ll also take a look back to Tuesday’s National Letter Of Intent Signing Ceremony at Quincy Notre dame and hear from 3 of the 9 student-athletes who are now set to continue their

athletic careers on the collegiate level at universities and colleges located across the region.
