Quincy man sentenced for child pornography

QUINCY (WGEM) — On Monday Nicholas Bliven, 22 of Quincy was sentenced to 30 months probation, 180 days of periodic imprisonment and 60 days to be served inforce.

Court records show that a status hearing was also set for January 7 at 8:45 a.m. in courtroom 2B.

Bliven was arrested in August on two counts of child pornography.

Police records indicate that Nicholas Bliven turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Adams County Courthouse.

Police records show that on November 19, 2018, Quincy Police began an investigation into the sharing of Child Pornography through social media. During the investigation, Bliven was identified as the suspect.
