NECAC officials said they've received nearly $500,000 in grant funding to help residents improve their homes.
Whether it's fixing a leaky roof or putting new siding on your house, any home repair can cost a lot of money but the local organization wants to help you out.
Officials said for those who qualify, they can help pay for up to $22,000 in fixes.
"These are your tax dollars. That's where they come from so all of the years you're out there and you've worked, you've paid your taxes. This is your opportunity to get some of that back," said NECAC's Deputy Director for Housing Development Carla Potts.
NECAC officials said they plan to distribute the money from these grants next spring but they say it's important to sign up for the program now because the funds go quickly.
