After Thursday night's 68-51 win at United Township it was back to work this afternoon for the 3-2 Blue Devils.
One of the early bright spots QHS has been the emergence of players in more prominent roles with senior guard Olivia Edwards being the lone returning starter.
Brin Hultz, Bre Sapp, and Kate Chevailer have all seen big minutes for the blue and white as well.
Saturday's challenge for Quincy will be facing a Sterling team that has an abundance of size that will force the blue devils to be fundamentally sound across the board.
Senior guard Olivia Edwards said, "I think we need to have our shooting down for sure, but we also need to just pay attention to what we're doing. We need to have good passes, make sure we're handling the ball well and just make sure we're playing good defense ourselves. "
Head Coach Brad Dance added that, "It'll be like Belleville West where we have to focus on rebounding and they won't be as athletic as West, but they're going to be pretty solid. We're going to have to make sure that we rebound."
