If you're looking for something to do with the kids Sunday, the Quincy Society of Model Engineers, or train club, is having their open house Sunday.

Club officials said visitors can stop by the Good Samaritan Home off Harrison in Quincy from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday to check out their display that club members have maintained since the 1970s, as well as smaller mobile displays that kids can interact with.

"Model trains are probably not as big of a favorite as it used to be with the public, especially young people, so we hope by having these we have some more young people interested in it," said Club President Jim Keller

Club officials said the hobby can be quite technical, and has something for people of all ages.
