FORT MADISON, Ia (WGEM) — Another candidate for president made a stop in Lee County Monday night.
Former housing and development secretary Julián Castro spoke to voters in Fort Madison at the Latin American Club.
Castro focused much of his talk on healthcare. For some voters that issue is one of the most important.
"I think we can do two things when it comes to health care. We can have a system that is based off of medicare but also give people the option… If they have a strong private health insurance plan and they want to hold onto it. That means we will have a very strong medicare based system but also choice," said Castro.
