MACOMB (WGEM) — The McDonough County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest A Plymouth, Illinois, man on multiple drug charges.
McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout reported the arrest of Jeremy Martin, 35, following a traffic stop Thursday at 12:08 a.m. for an expired registration on Highway 61 at the Hancock County Line.
Petitgout stated that a deputy noticed the smell of raw cannabis and a probable cause search was conducted. Deputies located 27.43 grams of Methamphetamine, 10 Hydrocodone pills, and 23.4 grams of cannabis in Martin’s vehicle.
Petitgout stated that Martin was charged with possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone pills), possession of 15 to 100 grams of Methamphetamine, Delivery of Methamphetamine 15-100 Grams, and Possession of Cannabis 10-30 grams.
Martin received traffic citations for driving with a suspended license, no valid registration, and no insurance.
Martin’s bond was set at $50,000.00 ten percent to apply. He needs $5,000.00 cash bond to be released.
