ADAMS COUNTY, Il. - An Illinois man has been charged with driving under the influence after a rollover crash late Friday night.
Illinois State Police officers said 43-year-old Warsaw resident Robert Pierce lost control of his car on North 24th Street in Quincy near the junction of IL-96 around 11:05 p.m..
Officers said the vehicle rolled and came to rest upright in a ditch.
Both Pierce and 29-year-old Ann Pierce were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
After an investigation, ISP arrested Robert Pierce for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and disobeying a stop sign.
