Hannibal police ask for information following shots fired call

HANNIBAL (WGEM) — Hannibal Police are investigating after a shots fired call that happened Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. Jacob Nacke reported that officers were called to the 200 block of Richmond Street after a resident reported that multiple rounds had been fired from a dark-colored sedan in the area.

Nacke stated that officers had observed a vehicle matching the description, but the driver was able to flee from officers.

Nacke stated at this time officers have not located any victims or property damage as a result of the shots fired and the incident is currently under investigation.
