While mild temps will continue this week we are watching forecast models paint the picture of a potential weekend washout for the Tri-States. Temps will warm to a high in the mid to upper 50s on Thursday. We expect to see rain begin to develop on Thursday and Thursday night. But the potential for heavier rain looks like it will fall Friday through Saturday. At this time areas Quincy and south may see in excess of 2 inches of rain. Major rivers are not a worry but small streams will fill up and we may see some flash flooding concerns. It should all wrap up by Friday night. However there is some data indicating the cold air will make it here before the moisture exits if that scenario plays out we will see some Saturday and Saturday night. Stay tuned.
