We have a very wet and potentially dangerous weather pattern setting up Thursday through Saturday night. A Flash Flood Watch has been posted for Ralls County in Missouri and Pike County in Illinois fro Friday morning through Friday night for heavy rain of 3 inches possible. The rest of us will see our share of rain with 1 to 2 inch totals looking likely fro Thursday through Saturday. Saturday's forecast is a tough one at this time. There are many unknowns, but our best guess at this time is rain will change over to sleet, freezing rain and the snow on Saturday. The wintry mix may start as early as Saturday morning or as late as Saturday night. So the timing is up in the air as well as just how much snow we will see. there is a 60% probability at this time that we will greater than 2 inches. We will just have to wait and see how quickly the cold air can catch up to the moisture before we add anymore snow to that total. The picture will become more clear By Friday afternoon.
