If you're preparing for a wedding, experts said there's a few things you should keep in mind this year.
A trio of wedding planners held an open house at Something Borrowed in Quincy on Sunday to allow people to ask questions.
Brides had the chance to speak with experts about planning their weddings, including renting decor and creating invitations.
Wedding planners said the biggest piece of advice is to get the ball rolling, early.
"Start early and then have a list of things that you absolutely need to get done, or you know is going to book early, like your reception site or your venue," wedding planner Julie Waterkotte said. "Have that written down and check that off on your list as you go."
Planners said if you missed Sunday's event, you can pop into Something Borrowed on weekdays.
The owner has contact information for a number of wedding professionals in the area.
