Monday may have been too cold for an outdoor workout but more equipment to do just that is coming to Quincy parks.
The Quincy Park District said they will use a private grant to install fitness equipment at the city's South Park.
The equipment will look similar to that of which was installed at Bob Mays Park last year.
Officials said they also hope to install fitness equipment at Moorman Park.
"We're promoting more parks so that more people will be out in them and it'll help get people feeling healthier and enjoying the different areas," said Recreation Program Manager Kyle Jacoby.
Park District officials haven't said when the equipment might be installed at either park.
They said they plan to partner with Blessing Health System to offer outdoor workout bootcamps this summer.
