A Quincy man faces multiple charges for allegedly driving drunk and hitting another vehicle.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says Timothy Smith, 46, was driving recklessly on Highway 57 through Marblehead just after 11 p.m. Monday night when he hit a truck.

They say after the collision, Smith ran off the highway and hit a tree.

He was taken to Blessing with non-life threatening injuries and ticketed with DUI, reckless driving, no insurance and failure to reduce speed.

Officials say the driver of the truck, Rebecca Nutt of Mendon, Illinois, was not hurt.
