The State of Illinois said a glitch in its payment system for the Child Care Assistance Program is fixed but a provider we introduced you to last week said she still hasn't been paid.
On Thursday, Illinois DHS issued a statement saying technical issues had been resolved and providers would begin receiving payments Friday.
Monday, Natalie Washington said she and other providers still haven't received their money and there's no indication it will be coming soon.
She said they use the comptrollers website to see when payments begin processing but hers still hasn't showed up.
"It's frustrating. We want our voices to be heard. We love doing what we do and we want it to be taken more seriously," said Washington.
Washington said she hopes her payments process tomorrow but even if they do, she said the money wont hit her bank account until next week.
