LIBERTY Ill. (WGEM) — One person was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Adams County Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. at 1971 Highway 104 near Liberty, Illinois.
The car rolled down an embankment and came to rest on its top. A tow truck was called in to pull the vehicle out.
The Adams County Sheriff's deputy on scene said the driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. No word yet on the extent of their injuries.
The deputy said the cause of the crash remains under investigation and it's unknown if speed was a factor.
Traffic on Highway 104 was not blocked.
