QUINCY (WGEM) — A former Quincy daycare worker who was indicted in 2018 on child pornography charges pleaded guilty in an Adams County courtroom Monday.

Nathan Caldwell appeared in court and pleaded guilty to two of the four counts he was originally charged with.

The other two counts have been dropped.

Caldwell worked at the St. Peter School daycare in Quincy and was arrested Oct. 31, 2018 at his home by the Quincy Police.

Police said the investigation was started after receiving information from the attorney general’s Internet Crimes Against Children division.

He reportedly possessed 169 images and 176 videos of child pornography.

Caldwell will appear in court on June 5 for sentencing.
