The risk for strong to severe storms has ticked up just a bit for tonight between 1 AM and 3 AM. We will be watching the radar closely for development of these storms. The primary threat will be damaging wind and hail. Friday we expect the risk for thunderstorms to continue especially in the afternoon. Temps on Friday will top out in the low 60's. While showers look likely on Friday the thunderstorm threat will be more widely scattered. Overnight Friday and into Saturday morning we expect a greater risk for severe storms especially early Saturday morning. We will be watching the forecast models and try to pin down the timing of strong storms as we get closer to the weekend.
