Warm for now

Temps on Tuesday topped in the mid 70's to near 80 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. We will be able to eek out another day of warm temps on Wednesday. We expect high temps to be in the mid 70's for most folks Wednesday. By late in the day or around sunset we expect scattered showers to develop from the northwest and slide through the area exiting Wednesday by 10 or 11 pm. There may be a few rumbles of thunder and there is a minimal risk that some storms could be strong to severe with large hail and high wind. But the threat for severe weather is very low at this time. It looks like storms may develop over the area and become severe after they move to our south and east. Wednesday night the wind will shift to the northwest and gust to 30 mile per hour. The northwest wind will bring and end to our string of 70 degree temps. While it will be sunny on Thursday it will be cooler and breezy with a high in the upper 40's to low 50's. The weekend looks chilly and wet. Next week looks even chillier.
