After a wildly successful debut, Lee County economic development officials said they're bringing back the "Buy Lee County" program next month.
The program sold a $30 dollar gift certificate which could be used at hundreds of local business for only $20.
Officials say they sold 600 certificates in just two days.
They say they weren't expecting the program to be as successful as it was.
"We only planned for about 500 certificates to last us the next couple weeks," Lee County Economic Development Group project director Dana Millard said. "However, we we're able to sell out within two days so we were really excited about the enthusiasm of the community and being able to support local businesses."
Millard says 500 new certificates will be available for purchase on June 15 to give current certificate holders the chance to spend.
"That also is just in time for Father's Day weekend, if they would like to purchase something locally for their dad or father figure, they're welcome to do so in any of the 240 Lee County businesses that accept them," she said.
Lee County EDG officials are encouraging those who bought the certificates take a photo of where they're spending it and share it on social media to encourage others to do the same.
