Body of missing Missouri man found in rural Shelby County

The body of a Bethel, Missouri man was found by search parties Friday in rural Shelby County after being reported missing back in mid-May.

According to Sgt. Eric Brown with the Missouri State Highway Patrol,
36-year-old Matthew Allen Shaw was found by a search team from Christian Aid Ministries just before 10 o'clock Friday morning.

Shaw disappeared on Friday, May 15 after a single vehicle crash on Route 168 at Shelby County 255.

His body was found just west of that location this morning.

Sgt. Brown says an autopsy will likely happen on Monday. Brown says as of now, no foul play is suspected, however the investigation continues.
