If you're a parent in the Clark County R-1 school district officials want to hear from you about your internet access at home to prepare for the possibility of a second wave of COVID-19.
The district superintendent Ritchie Kracht said with the possibility of having to split classes into alternating days, or continue to learn from home a real possibility due to COVID-19 next school year.
He said this is the first step towards addressing the issue.
"The survey is going to allow us to figure out what exactly internet access our families have at home, do they have internet access at all and if they do how fast as it, so we can kinda plan on what we're going to do going forward," said Kracht.
He said parents can go online to the Clark County R-1 Facebook page or website to take the survey, and it's also getting sent home with summer lunches and kids who are in summer school.
Kracht said they hope to get every family in the district to respond, and they'll also use the information to advocate to internet service providers and law makers about the need in the region.
