COVID-19 exposure at Center, Missouri, church

CENTER, Mo. (WGEM) — On Tuesday the Ralls County Health Department reported three new test positive cases of COVID-19 and advised churchgoers at Salem Baptist Church in Center, Missouri, to watch for symptoms.

Health officials said the two cases were confirmed Monday afternoon and an additional case Tuesday morning, bringing the total to nine cases in Ralls County, with six of those being recovered.

Officials also waned those who attended Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, June 21 to monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

The health department said it has been in touch with any close contacts of those testing positive and those individuals were provided guidance on quarantine and signs and symptoms to watch for.
