COVID-19 exposure at Hannibal church

HANNIBAL (WGEM) — The Marion County Health Department is warning those who attended services at the Grace Pointe Free Will Baptist Church in Hannibal on Sunday they may have been exposed to COVID 19.

Health officials said everyone who attended services should monitor for signs and symptoms and contact their healthcare provider if you are sick and get tested.

Health officials also reported three additional positive cases COVID-19 in Marion County on Monday.

  • A female between 10 and 20. Who is quarantined at home.
  • A female between 30 and 40. Who is quarantined at home.
  • A female between 20 and 30. Who is quarantined at home.

It is unclear if any of the newly announced cases are related to the incident at Grace Pointe Free Will Baptist Church.

Marion County Health Department said they are working in coordination with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) in contact tracing for those that have tested positive.
