A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for parts of the Tri-States. This watch is in effect now through tomorrow morning.

Showers and thunderstorms moved into the Tri-States Monday evening/night and are continuing into Tuesday morning. These storms produced very heavy rain. A Flash Flood Watch is still in effect until Wednesday morning. If you come across a water covered road, please please, please do not cross it. Just find a different route. Water can cause your car to float and could be swept away. Also, you do not know what kind of condition the road is in. It's possible that additional weight on the water covered road could lead to a sink hole. We expect another round of heavy rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. So we could see another flash flooding of streets, creeks and streams. The forecast looks drier after Wednesday morning.
