We are seeing some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms develop this morning, mainly north of Adams County. As we go into the afternoon, we'll continue to see the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. But only about 30-40 percent of the area will see rain. So the rain will be very hit or miss. Highs today will be near average, in the mid 80s. However, with dew points in the low 70s it will feel very humid. It will also feel hotter than what it actually is as heat indices will be in the mid 90s this afternoon and evening. Tonight, we'll have partly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 60s to near 70. Tomorrow will be warmer, with highs in the upper 80s. The heat index will be in the low to mid 90s though. It will be a mostly sunny day. There may be some scattered showers and thunderstorms in the region later in the afternoon. We could see a few of those clip the southern tier of the Tri-States, but as of right now those odds are looking slim. As for the 4th of July, we look to be mostly sunny with highs near 90.
