Several COVID-19 cases reported at Quincy church

QUINCY (WGEM) — The Adams County Health Department reported several positive cases of COVID-19 associated with the Cathedral of Worship in Quincy on Thursday.

The Adams County Health Department said it has been in contact with church leadership and individuals of the congregation have been notified.

In addition, services at the Cathedral of Worship have been suspended until July 8.

Adams County has seen a spike in COVID-19 cases in the last few weeks.

Earlier Thursday health officials reported six new positive cases in the county and urged residents to use caution over the holiday weekend.
